ETH Labor Verbundwerkstoffe, Zürich

Am Labor für Verbundwerkstoffe und Adaptive Strukturen der ETH Zürich wird an neuen Materialien geforscht. Beim mechanischen Bearbeiten dieser Materialien entstehen explosive Stäube. Diese Stäube werden am Entstehungsort abgesaugt, mittels einer Rohrleitung zum Filter transportiert und dort abgeschieden.

Die Stauberfassung erfolgt über einen Schleiftisch und Stichleitungen von den Werkzeugmaschinen. Die Filtereinheit ist durch eine Explosionsunterdrückungsanlage geschützt. Mit Druck- und Infrarotsensoren wird die Filtereinheit stetig überwacht. Ein Rückströmen der Flammen- und Druckwelle im Ereignisfall wird durch 2 aktive Schnellschlusssicherheitsventile verhindert. Die Anlage ist für Stäube mit einem maximalen KST Wert von 260 bar m/s und einem maximalen Explosionsdruck von 10 bar zugelassen.
